In this lead guitar lesson, we'll be getting more musical with our scales by learning some essential blues licks. Licks are a great way to start getting musical with scale shapes. For all of these licks, we'll be using the standard 6 1 blues scale shape.
Before you start learning these licks, you'll want to make sure you have some fundamental lead guitar techniques under your belt. Both bending and vibrato will be used in these licks, so you'll want to make sure you've learned how to do both of those.
Implement these licks into your practice time. Once you've got the hang of them, you can work on playing them along to music and begin creating your own unique solos.
